Biography
Mr. Siegler has almost twenty (20) years of experience in employment, labor, business, and general litigation law, representing hundreds of clients -- including, Chief Executive Officers and business owners -- in negotiations, mediations, arbitrations, and litigations of claims including discrimination on the basis of gender, age, national origin, race , disability, pregnancy, sexual orientation and religion, whistleblower retaliation, breach of contract, non-compete agreements, wage and hour claims, unemployment insurance appeals, agency disciplinary and licensing matters, shareholder disputes, and corporate and business litigation. Mr. Siegler also has significant experience in handling an array of corporate and business law matters ranging from drafting of documents, to advice, to various judicial and quasi-judicial matters.
Mr. Siegler earned his Juris Doctor degree from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law in 1997. While in law school, Mr. Siegler served as the Supervising Editor of the Cardozo Law Review. He began his career as Law Clerk to the Honorable Paul F. Chaeit, J.S.C., Monmouth Vicinage. Mr. Siegler then trained as an employment attorney, working with some of the premier employment law firms in the State of New Jersey. In 2006, Mr. Siegler founded a boutique labor and employment law practice in East Brunswick and Princeton, NJ, where he continued to represent both employees and employers in labor, employment, and business matters until he joined this Firm.
Mr. Siegler's appellate decisions include Rubin v. Chilton Memorial Hospital, a case which opened the door for independent contractors to make claims under the New Jersey Law Against Discrimination. He is the editor and author of the New Jersey Employment Lawyer Blog, now in its sixth (6th) year of publication, and numerous legal articles including Independent Contractors Protected, 12 N.J.L. 1359 (July 21, 2003), and the co-author of U.S. District Court Reaffirms Individual Liability Under CEPA, N.J. Labor. Emp. Quarterly, Summer 2000.
Mr. Siegler is married with three (3) children and an active volunteer with the Boy Scouts of America.
